Dr. Sayward E. Duggan and Andrew R. Duggan bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 111 Watermans Way in Dandy/Marlbank from Norris E. Merkle and Donna S. Merkle for $425,000 on May 16.

The Merkles paid $275,000 for the property in May 2002. The 3,579-square-foot home in Marlbank Cove was built in 1985.

Dr. Duggan is a periodontist at Yorktown Periodontics. She also maintains a private practice limited to periodontics and dental implants in Yorktown.

She earned her D.D.S. from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed her two-year general practice residency at the University of Virginia Health System. She also completed a training in periodontics at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she received an M.S. in dentistry and a certificate in periodontics.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 30 home sales in Dandy/Marlbank during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $385,000.
