Estate of public works director sells Yorktown 4BD

The estate of William Henry Cutts sold a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 302 Tide Mill Road in Yorktown to Timothy P. Miklos and Rebekah L. Miklos for $407,036 on Sept. 19.

The 2,375-square-foot house was built in 1975 in Mill Farms. It is located in the Tide Mill Estates subdivision.

Cutts served as a director of Newport News Public Works for 25 years. He also served the U.S. Navy for 22 years, retiring in 1972.

He passed away in November 2011.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 299 home sales in Yorktown during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $295,000.
