The Many Faces of Belly Dance to be held March 3

Local teachers and performers from Hampton, Newport News, York County, Williamsburg and Gloucester will collaborate on The Many Faces of Belly Dance from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, March 3.

The event will feature the different styles of belly dance and the benefits of the dance. The dance styles range from Turkish and Egyptian to the U.S. fusions of dance and more. 

The free event will be held in the community room of the Main Street Library, 100 Main St., Newport News. Belly dancing shows will begin at 2:15 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
