Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority reveals holiday garbage, recycle collection dates

The Virginia Peninsulas' Public Service Authority announced that there will be no curbside garbage or recycling collections Tuesday, Dec. 25.

According to an authority press release, garbage collections normally scheduled Tuesday will occur Wednesday; Wednesdays collections will be Thursday and so forth until all collections are completed Saturday, Dec. 29.

Recycling collections scheduled Tuesday, Dec. 25 will occur Saturday, Dec. 22. All other recycling collections will occur on the regularly scheduled day.
