Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority schedules Christmas tree pickup

The Virginia Peninsulas Public Service Authority announced that Christmas trees will be collected the week of Monday, Jan. 7.

According to an authority release, residents must place trees roadside by 7 a.m. Monday, Jan. 7. The trees will be collected at some point during the week.

Residents may also drop off their tree at the VPPSA compost facility located at 145 Goodwin Neck Road, Yorktown.
