Two York High School students place first at competition
Queens Lake Middle School student Elizabeth de Jager takes first place in the Junior Division Plant Sciences at the York County School Division Science Fair.
Two York High School students placed first at the York County School Division Science Fair held Jan. 16 held at the Grafton School Complex in Winchester.
York High School students Elizabeth Park and Fariah Ishrat placed first in the competition's Senior Division Mathematics.
"This year's theme, 'What if...' challenged students to ask new questions and investigate a wide range of topics," according to a county school division press release.
Grafton School Complex is at 930 Frederick Ave., Winchester, Va.
