York County School Board to meet Feb. 4

The York County School Board will meet Monday, Feb. 4.

5. Subject — The York County School Board will meet in closed session pursuant to the Scholastic Exemption of Section 2.2-3711 (A)(2) of the Virginia Freedom of Information Act for the consideration of a recommendation for discipline of a student enrolled in the school division.

The York County School Board meets at 7 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month, unless noted, on the second floor of York Hall in Yorktown. The board consists of five elected members from the county's election districts. Members are elected every four years, with the next election scheduled in November. Current chair of the board is Barbara S. Haywood.
